Kermit Says…It’s Not Easy Being Green…Or is it?
Hey Briana Buddies-
Kermit the Frog brings back so many memories as a child. I enjoyed watching Sesame Street growing up and have learned so many lessons from the long running show. I think most of us adored the characters and it’s great that kids in this generation are able to experience Kermit & Miss. Piggy and his popular saying, It’s Not Easy Being Green. Like many of us, we sometimes struggle with being accepted and allowing our own uniqueness to shine. I used to really have a difficult time with being different and flowing to the beat of my own drum. I had to learn that I am uniquely created and so blessed to have the talents that I do. According to my mom, I have always had to learn things the hard way. I am so grateful to have “real” friends and family in my life who support what I do, understand who I am and also set me straight when I need to hear it.
I love Kermit that much and his popular saying that I used it in my own way for my book series. In my 3rd book, Briana Goes Green, Briana learns what it truly means to take care of the environment and how important it is to protect the Earth. She also decides that with effort, It is Easy Being Green!
I wanted to share this picture of Kermit and First Lady. It makes me smile and I love when adults can let go and enjoy their kid moments!
